I am Aida Fiori, a photographer based in Romania. Fiori is the Italian version of my second name.
Years ago I picked up a camera to play, and then I discovered fine art photography. It moved me so deeply, so immediately, that I knew at once: this is what I want to do.
Photography is my way of turning the intensity with which I feel the world into something visible.
My eye seeks beauty as a way of belonging. Tenderness, fragility, quiet strength, depth, character — these are the things I strive to depict in my work.
When I photograph people, I search beneath the surface for something real, something that lingers. I try to capture who my subject truly is.
My work moves between studio portraiture, fine art and the documentation of performative arts.
Join me in the pursuit of beauty.
